Encouraging conversation after Knights meeting today. While discussing the probable direction of WNYSEF post meeting, I was encouraged to book some dates at the Emerling and North Collins fields for sailplane events. The main thoughts were the fields do not even need to be reserved, though I provided an argument that they should be "booked" ahead of time, that we would not interfere with anyone else's flying time and that several other members would probably show up and may drag some sailpanes out of mothballs.
We received the first membership renewal for 2024.
